Imaginative people for a playful city...

theLudicidade is a shared atelier open to the public. In this space, artists and the public through digital manufacture and creativity, together construct objects of art and design. The intention is that throughout the time of coexistence, an interactive structure / installation will be built, with innovative materials that refer to the context of architecture in new applications: concrete, wood, leds, circuits and others. Therefore, the activities will be directed to the handling of various materials, in support of the final objective.

Created in collaboration with the FESTA! Festival at SESC Pinheiros (São Paulo, Brazil) and in partnership with Lina Lopes.
FESTA!
As the co-coordinator and project manager of this workshop of 2 days, full immersive in different techniques (from electrics to carpentry), I tried to be in charge to built an DIY experience for kids and you people. My main role was to be in the coordination and helping directly with the workshops.

The final result, is an artist installation with all the elements created by the participants during the days of workshop, merging the hands-on experience with art.

The name LUDICIDADE comes from the idea of a playful (LUDUS) city (CIDADE), connected with the meaning of all the activities: create a playful environment, result of art, technology and hands-on!
